Are your paintings prints or paintings?

Deseret Oil Paintings only sells 100% hand painted oil paintings by experience artists.  We do not use pressing, printing, or any technological tricks to create the paintings show on our website.  They are all hand painted originals.

Who are your artists?

Deseret Oil Paintings has gathered a group of fine artists from around the world that on average have 10 years of experience and advanced degrees in the fine arts.  We have selected these artists for their attention to beauty and their ability to create beautiful, original pieces of art.

Will Your Artists sign the painting?

Yes, by default the artist will sign the painting.  However, if you have a special request to not include the artist’s signature then we can accommodate this.

I have a personal photograph or custom scene I want painted, can you do this?

Yes, many of our orders are for custom orders. Please visit our Custom Paintings section for information regarding this.

How Much Is Shipping?

Shipping is free for any order. We typically ship via FedEx or UPS.

How long until our painting ships?

If your painting is in stock then it will ship within 2-3 business days.  If your painting is not in stock then there is typically a 2-3 week period until the painting is completed by the artist.  If you have any special requests please contact us for further details.

What if my painting/frame is damaged during shipment?

Although Deseret Oil Paintings goes through every effort to ensure that each painting is packaged properly to avoid damages, there is a rare chance that it can damage during shipping.  Simply refuse shipment when it arrives so that we can file a claim for you and get a new painting out to you as soon as possible.  Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the damaged painting, all requests received after this time the customer will be responsible for filing a damage claim with the shipper.

Can I see the Painting before you ship it?

Yes, you have the option to select this during checkout.  We will then email you a digital photo of the painting for your approval for shipping.

Can I return our painting?

Yes, you can return a painting within 30 days of receiving it.  Please note that you need to request a return authorization from customer service in order to receive a refund and return address.  Although we do offer free shipping, actual shipping costs will not be refunded for returns.  If you  order a custom painting that is painted to your specifications and that painting is approved by you before shipping, we will not be able to refund your purchase.
